Entry numbers are deliberately limited, and every driver attends a compulsory drivers briefing before entering the track. This keeps sessions controlled, safe, and moving without shortcuts.

HPTO Fest isnโt just about watching from the fence. Spectators have full access to the pits, Hardpark Zone, and key viewing areas around the circuit, so youโre right where the action is all weekend.
During Cruise With Mates sessions, passengers are welcome on track. Grab a $10 passenger wristband, jump in with a mate, and experience the circuit from the passenger seat. All passenger wristband proceeds are donated directly to Ronald McDonald House Southland.
Pace Taxi fast laps will also be running throughout the weekend, giving spectators the chance to strap in and experience Teretonga at speed with experienced drivers.

The Family Zone and Hardpark Zone return for Saturday and Sunday, giving spectators and entrants a dedicated space away from the track action to relax, explore, and connect.
The Hardpark Zone isnโt a static show. Bring your pride and joy, secure prime positioning, and be part of the event atmosphere. Vehicles on display are eligible for 20 standout awards across the weekend, recognising builds that catch attention both on and off track.
The Family Zone offers a more relaxed environment alongside the on-track action and is designed to be accessible, welcoming, and alcohol-free, making HPTO Fest a weekend the whole crew can enjoy.

Friday acts as a relaxed lead-in to the main weekend, with track activity running throughout the day and a more open, behind-the-scenes feel before Saturday and Sunday kick off.
Friday is open to the public at a reduced entry price, making it an ideal day to come down, explore the pits, and catch early on-track action. For those holding a weekend pass, Friday entry is included at no extra cost.
VIP competitors receive exclusive Friday access as part of their entry, including additional track time and dedicated sessions. Full VIP inclusions are outlined in the competitor entry form and are designed for drivers wanting more access, more time, and a deeper event experience.
